Intricately made hand-carved wooden chair decorated with busy network of carved scrolling flora and vegetation, in the style of Moorish decorative arts made in Syria. The material is teak or walnut. There are brass pin-head terminals that line the side of the seat and stretcher. Produced circa 1880.
In excellent condition with minor age-related signs of wear. There are two small knobs missing from the chair but this has no effect on its functionality (See photos).
